great course to do

School Ambassador in Birmingham City Centre, West Midlands
on 19 August 2022
Good work opportunity while studying
I loved this job a lot - I really enjoyed talking to prospective students, helping them get information and being a friendly face.Sometimes I'd be working the Open Days, sometimes manning the phones and calling students to make sure they're ready for Uni. Hardest part of the job is dealing with parents who really need to let their 18 year old, legal adult offspring make their own decisions.

Ok place to work
Could pay us better for all the responsibilities we have. Management are under qualified for their role. Team is completely understaffed. You have to take other departments job responsibilities when they refuse to do it.

Great place to work. I enjoy my job and feel supported by all at the university. I would recommend working here. Good work life balance and areas for progression

Great opportunities as a student
Role was gained as a part time opportunity through being a student - provided an opportunity to help other students in different classes, meet new people, and polish pre existing skills.Fantastic pay, only cons are you can only work up to 6 hours a week, and schedules can be hard to work around with your own timetable
