Would not recommend working for this agency... unless you need a quick fix employment!!? No communication and when there is; it’s for there own benefit and won’t answer you when you’re in need. Quite frankly they are ruthless and have no regard for the fact that they are dealing with real live human beings in sometimes difficult situations. Dropped like a hot stone if the client decides they no longer need you and have no conscience when it does happen. Short story... avoid and choose more ethical agencies that have some decency when dealing with their candidates who at the end of the day; the one’s keeping them in their delusional positions of importance.
Quick cheap employment
Leave your dignity at the door..
Coming previously from a professional work environment I was shocked and very disappointed with the way communications about pay, hours and conditions were sent. One such example was being told at about 1pm on Christmas eve the pay that you have been told you would receive for working on Christmas day now would not happen. Change of starting hours the night before and almost threatening messages about the expectation to work increased hours or effectively lose your job.Effectively a totally non professional team, with no care about the conditions for the staff they recruit.
Rude poorly worded messages. Unable to provide clear answers to questions raised.
Worked for this company during summer covid cleaning, ripped me off on hourly rate and when I queried it I didn't get paid that week, also don't get back to you when you phone them, total chancers. No malice here just being honest.
Scammed on hourly rate.
Worked for two branches and in both the consultants lacked communication and organisation. The Coventry branch was highly unprofessional with a consultant who was quite snide. The jobs I was given were great however and I feel like applying for them through the direct companies would’ve been much better. Usually salary was paid on time but would sometimes be incorrect and you would have to chase it up. You’d also be told a day before if there was any rota change which is quite inconvenient if you have other things to tend to. A lot of lack of responsibility with a lot of “it’s not me I’m the messenger” from the consultants. Which is frankly inexcusable. Only work here if you really need the money
Wages paid weekly
Disorganised, bad communication
Awful company to work for not disability friendly they constantly get the pay wrong and will make you wait until next pay cycle to rectify it, rude staff, sack people for no legitimate reason just avoid this agency there are better ones out there
Cant think of one
Was great at first, got me a positionwithin a week of registering with them. Then arrived Furlough, no contact, could not speak to anyone, always on annual leave when I rang. Received my P45 with no warning, when I called to find out why, as was still on the app, was told as I hadn't done any work for them i had been sent it. Thought it was up to them to find me work! Not impressed i'm afraid, thought they could have sent an email at least.
This is working for Snag tights in livingston shocking place to work they expect you to be perfect from the second you walk through the door on my 1st day was shown how to pack tights into a small bag nothing else and they exspected you to know everything no mistakes allowed i was paid of after 6 days no reason why nothing blue arrow were useless in explaining to me no call from them regarding other work and still waiting on my pay will never use blue arrow againand i would definately not reccomend working for Snag Tights

management expect you to be perfect
Best agency in Exeter they ALL care about their workers. They are funny and really easy to talk to. (unlike other agencies) they will call you up regarding positions instead of you calling. They are really good at sorting any issues that you have with a work place and will find you work in a heart beat could not thank them enough:)
I know that is an agency and that the work is not permanent but I constantly keep getting notifications online for Blue Arrow advertising for job jobs even though they don't have any which is rather annoying. also when you put in your availability they don't seem to even acknowledge. Also you offer jobs over the phone and had consultant say to me on numerous occasions that there is work for you but we just waiting for the client to get back to us you shouldn't be telling people that there's work if you're not guaranteed the work because the people that waiting for the work I dependent on the work and they don't have a full time job and it's a bit misleading also so when you sign up you should be assigned to one consultant not to everybody because all that is you just passing them from person to person to then if they've been offered a job by somebody but it don't take the name then they just going to be calling and talking to everybody about the same situation which is a bit stupid
Jobs are not regular but yet they keep advertising online for jobs
I have worked for blue arrow in various locations. They are always there to listen and solve any problems that arise, they are informative about positions available
Blue Arrow staff are friendly and helpful and professional. They are accommodating and strive to get the work that is suitable for yourself and the client.
Management is down to earth, felt relax talking to them during interview and they'll call you when work is available. You choose your own hours.. if they need someone within the hour they will call you and ask if you're available last minute and will actually treat you like a human.
the job's they put you on their supervision team can be abit touchy and will treat you differently
