I found working at cleveland view vert stressfull as you could never do anything right. I left due to management refusing to check money with me that I handed in from activities, who does not check money some staff especially the younger ones talk to you disgusting and nothing is realy done breaks are very hard to get because of the amount of work and staff levels. Your views are not listened to. Staff are run ragged. You are demanded to go into work on your days off even when you have done 40hours. Management name and shame you put your name on the board. its like a.............. Victorian way off working should be called cleveland view work house
Pros
NICE RESIDENTS and families
Cons
NOT NICE PEOPLE to work for management could not careless about how they treat you

Senior managers have no clue of how to support managers as they have no experience. Care homes aren’t fit for purpose. Not a good company or culture.
Cons
To many to mention.

I worked at bondcare for nearly 2 years and the management don’t care and don’t support you in anything you want. If your friends with the manager then your ok but if not then you won’t get anywhere. The attitude of management is horrible and only a few staff actually care and the rest are more bothered about who they work with and where they work overall it’s a horrible place to work
Pros
Lovely residents and some staff are nice
Cons
Poor management poor staff work ethic

I worked at Cleveland View for 6 months as Activity Coordinator and only left due to another job offer that did provide a substantial amount more of a salary including further development and learning opportunities.Management were fantastic in valuing my role and ensuring that activity provision for residents was a key priority,Equally all staff were all supportive and made me feel welcome and included as part of the staff team at all times. The culture of the home was one of expectation that all staff provided person centred care and ensured the dignity of all residents was paramount, this was the ethos of management and a requirement.Cleveland View is unique in that it provides support for those that may have not been as settled in other residential settings including the provision of respite and care of a 'younger' client group requiring care and additional support with wellbeing.I have over the years worked within other residential care settings however Cleveland View has been the most welcoming and encouraging with regard to my role as Activity Coordinator.I would in the future have no hesitation in going back to work at Cleveland View.

Absolutely no training given. Your expected to move, wash and handle residents with out any training. Not only is this against the law but completely unfair on both parties involved. After working there for two weeks, I was told there was no work for me and my work was inadequate even tho I hadn’t been shown anything (including fire exits) and received no training or shadowing. I was appalled.

Bullying galore! From staff who think they will get away with it as management ignore and turn a blind eye. This is being allowed to carry on.Too many clicks and not enough actual management of these bullies.

Wouldn’t recommend whatsoever. Staff rip shreds out of each other! No trust in anyone, can’t turn to management because they fall in the same category. Don’t appreciate anything you do for the home or the residents, but are quick to degrade you in front of the whole team for something you haven’t done or had time to do.

Far too much work put onto individual staff members. LONG HOURS!!!!!!! Too much expected from staff and at short notice. Lack of communication when changes happen and then don't take responsibility when staff unsure of what they supposed to be doing. Rubbish pay for amount of work expected and lack of staff resulting in exhausted staff. Lack of support with clients needs. No teamwork between different shift patterns and a lot of back stabbing. Superior staff treat 'lower' staff like children. No protection for staff from abuse off clients!!!Looking after clients can be fulfilling but very tiring due to lack of support. Colleagues make it possible to make it through the shift, barely, but also due to low staffing levels fuses are short.
Pros
Helping clients
Cons
Long hours, lack of support, lack of communication, rubbish pay

I worked there for a long while.Management was bad in terms of communication, manager said one thing deputy said another. Most of the people you work with are talking behind your back. Residents personal care is usually kept on top of well however you find yourself always picking up after previous shifts. They have no benifits in terms of work and overtime is expected not thanked for. Management are so focused on the aesthetics of the home rather than the people in it. Admin was bullied out the office and replaced by someone who isn't qualified other than the fact she's best friends with the deputy and keeps saying she'll leave in order to get a pay rise. She was previously activities and she favoured some residents to others and lied about what she had done with them in paper work. Management listens to gossip and believes it. Staff laugh and joke about residents. Always short on staff on days and nights making people exhausted. And that's without extra shifts. Staff get a disciplinary action for things as little as looking for another job or something being relayed to management which has been twisted.

This has to of been the most awful, poorly staffed, filthy dirty home I've ever had the displeasure of working in. Senior management team are rude, unprofessional, unapproachable, abrupt and clearly have no idea of what happens and goes on within the homes they manage. The whole interview process was rushed, I had the feeling I was a hindrance while being interviewed as the regional manager couldn't wait for me to get out of the office. I was offered a position before I'd even filled in the application form. The administration staff member was rushing me to fill in the application form there and then, I should of told them I'd made a huge mistake and to of turned the job offer down. I can honestly say that the particular home I worked in (Henwick grange) deserves the CQC rating it obtained, its shocking. CQC report stated requires improvement on all five categories as of January 2020.If you want to work for a organisation that literally sucks every bit of energy you have left, is institutional, overwhelming, mentally draining, filthy dirty then please work here. Henwick grange is continually short on staff both Registered nurses and care staff that they use are unfamiliar agency staff that have never stepped foot in the building before so this can be frustrating for both residents and staff members. Most agency staff never return as it has such an awful atmosphere. I have no positive comments to leave in regards to Henwick grange. I urge everyone to really think long and hard before applying here.

I had a lot to learn from this job, regarding the culture and behaviour of human beings. Therefore, this thought me to think structurally and appreciate what life offers me.

Senior management are clueless, not professional at all and have no respect or concern for staff. Ridiculous interview, more like an informal chat with no structure whatsoever. Senior Management are incompetent. Avoid at all costs. Horrible culture within the organisation. Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Staff always leaving because they are not happy.
