Restaurant and Bars Team Member in Studley
on 23 August 2021
Fun but intense
Constant new people starting and people leaving weekly and shifts were short but full on. Most days were split shifts which gives you a long break but going in again later was never fun. Never received actual training (due to covid?) but some people got to shadow more experienced team members for a shift, but not everyone. However it was easy to pick up what to do, just most people struggled to manage their section of tables due to a la carte style three course meals in the evening. Sometimes given double your contracted hours but management do listen if you find it too much. Always opportunities to take on extra shifts if wanted and living wage for all ages is great! Overall, fun but stressful.

Not a very good company to work for despite advertising that they are
Coverympany very money orientated work team members to their limits.Accommodation provided for team is very basic if not should be condemned.Push managers to their limits with targets constantly having to reach them.No team morale no help in terms of mental health support. If not performing you are bullied into leaving .You g team members are treated Even worse.

Fabulous energetic company
Amazing company to work for… higher management certainly put the time, effort and money to pay for your progression and encourage you to go on courses to further your career.

Times have changed
Been with the company 16 years in a management roll the company now I feel they use the key team and show no respect and when challenged they don't care. I've loved my time with the company but the ways it's gone my time has come to leave
ENOVIROMENTAL CLEANER, BUTLINS in Minehead, Somerset

Interesting place to work with a demanding clientele
Long hours and poor pay. The company does not have its employees at heart, just profits. The goalposts were moved constantly and the leadership was very poor

What makes me different from the other applicants who have applied for this job. My reply was I’ve never met them. But I’m crazy and outgoing. Get along with all.

If I can think on my feet, however this park I had already worked for the company for many years and they asked me if I would move there to help sort the place out.
