Actually delivers
Administrator (Current Employee) - Newmarket, Suffolk - 2 November 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis is the first company I have worked for that actually delivers on promises such as pay reviews, rewards schemes and Continuous Personal Development opportunities. The environment can be fast paced at times but also very relaxed at others as we work in our resident's home but everyone has an amazing attitude to their work and we all enjoy making the lives of our residents a little better wherever we can.The management within Boutique Care Homes trust you to get on with your work without micromanaging you but always make it clear they are available to support you should you need it.

My best employer in care...
Client Relationship Manager (Current Employee) - Newmarket, Suffolk - 1 November 2022
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working for Boutique. They value their people, senior managers are appreciated, rewarded and have a supportive, kind and family orientated support from Senior Management Team from Head Office. All colleagues in positions of management are experienced in their roles and I have found that working with Boutique Care Homes has honestly been the most enjoyable experience since working in the care sector over the last 7-8 years. I also want to emphasise that Boutique are investing in me by signing me up to an apprenticeship LVL 5 in management that no other employer has ever offered me and I cannot be more grateful. I have a great work/life balance that previous providers never gave me, I am able to give my very best because I have time to spend with my own family so coming into work is nothing short of enjoyable. Come and work for Boutique Care Homes you will not regret it!

Supportive, caring and productive workplace
PA to Senior Management Team (Current Employee) - Head Office, London - 15 June 2022
Supportive management, collaborative work culture. Evident from my short time here, residents are extremely well cared for and loved as part of a larger family. On my visits to the homes, it has been so lovely to see such happy, relaxed residents who welcomed me into their home! Delicious food and lots of activities and events. Feedback and ideas are encouraged, with individual staff contributions from Head Office to the Homes, acknowledged and appreciated. Thank you Boutique Care !

Professional and Supportive Workplace
Head of Health and Lifestyle (Current Employee) - Newmarket, Suffolk - 25 March 2022
Boutique care homes are truly different to the rest. They take pride in treating their staff with complete honesty and respect. I have been at Brampton Manor care home for what is now 7 months. Throughout this period, I have been set with realistic and achievable working tasks which I have been fully supported with by all of the management team. From the managing director to the hands on care team it feels very much like a big family who all share the same core values. In terms of working in a care home setting I don't believe you will find somewhere that will treat you as a staff member any better.

Fun place to work
Receptionist/Administration Assistant (Current Employee) - Shepperton, Surrey - 3 March 2020
My job includes a wide variety of tasks that keeps my working day interesting and without a boring moment. I have been here a short while and learned a vast amount already; from invoicing, to recruitment, this position has allowed me to gain invaluable experience which I am very grateful for. All staff are extremely friendly towards each other, making it a very welcoming environment for everyone. The hardest part of the job is that it can be quite busy; but completing all your tasks is very rewarding and someone is always willing to lend a helping hand. The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with residents and visitors. Boutique Care Homes encourage staff to improve and access to additional training is always available. Management is strong and there are opportunities for you to voice any concerns or issues you may have to them.

Official response from Boutique Care Homes Ltd
21 February 2020Thank you for being part of our care team. We appreciate that at times caring for people with a range of needs can be very demanding and stressful but also one of the most rewarding careers. We base our staffing ratios on our current residents dependency levels and in the unforeseen circumstance that a member of the team is to go off sick, in the first instance we would of course ask if another member of our team was able to cover the shift in order to provide consistency of care to our residents with those staff that they are familiar with. Staff are under no obligation to pick up overtime hours on their days off, however we like to give our own team first refusal. We are sorry to hear that you are feeling stressed and overworked, please do discuss your concerns with your Line Manager or alternatively you can use our employee assistance programme which offers a wide range of confidential health and wellbeing services to team members including telephone counselling, face to face counselling, legal advice and financial advice. These services can be accessed free of charge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Full details are contained in your employee handbook.
