How has Brakes Group responded to the COVID-19 outbreak?

  • Poorly, we had a team leader taking everyones temperatures as they came through the gate with no mask on. The team leader later tested positive but nobody was told. Managers were told to keep it quiet.

  • By ignoring modt of the rules as long as the deliveries are met

  • Yes it has a camera as you enter and gel plus now after 6months are making driver wear masks in office,they have supplied masks gloves and gel ,but social distancing is non existant

    Used the furlough scheme to make 100's redundant

  • Brilliantly. They have social distancing in place. Working environment is good. Hand sanitiser every where. Temps being taken every time you turn up for work. The company is following government guidelines.

  • I been on fourlough since April

  • Brakes have done so many great things during the outbreak, from food bank donations to donating excess fruit and veg to zoos. Additionally all colleagues have been looked after and treated with compassion. I'm very proud to work for Brakes
