Under pressure to obtain sales on a daily basis. As long as you acquire your targets then you are pretty much left alone to get on with things. Otherwise things can become a little prickly
Pros
Reasonable hours
Cons
Past good performances are quickly forgotten if things get bad
Typical day at work. vehicle checks load the delivery on then deliver . Most mornings the deliveries was not ready and you would be waiting for over half a hour. Branch manger was unwilling to listen to you concerns and opinions. Favoritism by the branch manger if the face fits. Two drivers and one office staff allowed to take company vehicles home. On quiet a few occasions the vehicle taken home by the office staff was left empty. Health and safety was non existent only when it suited. The vans were often unsafe to drive ie Tyre with a nail in it for over 6 weeks or more large cracks in window screens. One vehicle clutch had gone but was still driven for up to 3 months. on all occasions this was pointed out to the branch manger who ignored the concerns. Branch manger acted in an unprofessional manner. . The enjoyable part of the job was meeting your customers.
Pros
None

40 hr working week between 8.30am - 5pm
Free onsite parking and onsite cafe plus games room
Good location for public transport, close to Manchester Airport Metro stop
Everyone works hard but supportive of each other
European Company but good working relationship throughout the company
At first it was a great place to work, then branch closures and change in management change the atmosphere. Work became more of a chore than an enjoyment
a person will get a disainary for being found guilty of sabotaging the whole business but another person will be fired for being accused of verbal abuse and the person had a ‘witness’ who’s probably their best friend.
Management are ok but there’s always a blunt tool in the shed. One or two employees seem to infulence one of the managers decisions. They sit in their comfy office all day and come out at the end and go on like they been co-ordinating everything but really they’ve been just sitting on their bums scratching their privates
Pros
Good people
Cons
One or two numbnut managers who can’t do their job
We want to help you find great companies. Help us be the best!

Brammer BuckandHickman is a good place to work for and i enjoyed everyday i worked there and i would recommend anyone to work there. in all the roles available.
Working for Brammer was an experience. I learned a lot while I was there. Management used to be unsavoury but a lot has changed and improvements are being made. During my 3 year employment I saw a very high staff turnover, which is unlikely to change.
to many changes have happened
used to be a great working place but has changed for the worse.
