Do sleep-ins count towards contracted hours? & how long is a sleep-in shift?

2 answers

  • Sleep ins don’t count towards contracted hours,
Contracted Hours end at 10pm and start again at 7am

  • No they don’t. You will be paid an enhancement of £50 for the first four worked monthly then £70 for any more worked in that month. You may also be eligible for the living wage uplift for sleep ins (they will ensure that you are paid the legal living wage for every hour worked, including sleep in hours, if you have not met this then you will receive an uplift in your pay)
