Brandon Trust Employee Review
Staff are good people and lovely residents
Social Care Worker (Current Employee) - Bristol - 15 September 2023
Nice place to work, can be a bit stressful at times but all in all it’s a decent place. Staff are great. Residents are lovely also and the hours are very good too.

A toxic blame shifting culture
Support Worker (Former Employee) - Bristol - 5 December 2023
Management take no responsibility for safeguarding errors and blame dump onto anyone they can. Pressure to read documents and sign fast, during shifts when under heavy pressure so that they are covered if anything goes wrong. No support in safeguarding incidents and poor awareness of mental health conditions in employees. You can go the extra mile, give all of your passion and heart to the service users but don't get noticed or appreciated for it. Instead, you get paid less than an agency and run around sweating while they sit around on their phones. The attitude to safeguarding is steeped in threats and fear, which means staff will throw each other under the bus all of the time. If you experience any mental health issues, do not work for this company. I now thankfully work for an organisation that is inclusive to its employees and recognise that in order to care for the service users, this is equally important.

fun place to work
Support Worker (Current Employee) - Bristol - 2 September 2023
Poor pay, but isnt all care work. Very rewarding job so makes it all worth while. Service users wonderful. Great job if your face fits with managers. Some managers lovely others bullies and very clique with each other. Can make your life miserable and stressful if they choose..Most of the training is online which is quite basic and easy.

Not too bad
Support Worker (Former Employee) - Bristol - 7 February 2023
Not a bad company to work for, made a good set of friends in the one house I worked in, not much room for progression, higher management don't really visit the services, just delegate from the offices
