Bridgegate Security (GB) Limited is one of the largest independent security contractors in the United Kingdom. Our head office is based in Nottingham with a second office located in Hampshire, and we employ security personnel nationwide.

Bridgegate Security was founded in 1978. Originally known as ‘Dorcare’, the name was changed in 1997 to reflect our expanding portfolio of services. The company has grown to become the largest independent security supplier to the night time economy. As well as door supervisors, Bridgegate provides a wide range of security solutions. These include static guard, events management, close protection, security consultancy and training.

Geographical coverage of Bridgegate’s provision extends across the United Kingdom. We have formed valued, strong, successful relationships with an array of clients ranging from large plc establishments through to smaller independent operators. These positive relationships have secured Bridgegate’s solid reputation within the industry. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater for the clients’ needs no matter how big or small the project, always providing a full service to the highest standard.

Clients can rely upon Bridgegate to tailor make a package which includes venue risk assessments, personal risk assessments, venue inductions, standards of service and continued professional development of staff as well as ongoing business support. At Bridgegate Security we encompass our own training centre. Qualified in-house trainers manage and develop programmes to meet the requirements of both Bridgegate employees and external clients.

Bridgegate Security’s management team possess expertise underpinned by a varied skills set. Members have enjoyed successful careers in areas that range from police licensing to premise licence holding. Clients can be confident of our deep understanding of the security industry from many perspectives. The management team consist of the same experienced members that created the company in 1978, along with a number of additions reflecting Bridgegate’s growth and success.

Good amount of venues but have to be there for a number of years to be able to get decent money. Also they can have tou running around the country for no extra pay or expences

Great company, best rates in Cardiff.

Great company! They have most of the main venues in Cardiff so loads of options if you want to change venue or pick up extra work.Good teams especially in the bigger venues, HDs are good and the area manager does regular check ins.Very happy.

Amazing area manager and head door

I think this company does vary between doors but my full time door is amazing. The head and deputy take as many teaching moments as possible and even let their staff teach them new things, there's no overly authoritative atmosphere. The area manager is very supportive and acts like a friend to you over any form of boss. Best doors I've worked
