Our History Bright Horizons was founded to provide an innovative solution to the lack of affordable, high-quality, childcare for working families. Over the past 20 years our hard work, commitment and dedication has had fantastic results – we have seen impressive growth in terms of numbers of clients and nurseries, and also in the range of childcare services we now provide. Throughout the UK, we now have a portfolio of more than 300 community and workplace nurseries. Bright Horizons has also pioneered the provision of emergency dependent care through our back-up care programmes. Our Training We are passionate about our ongoing learning and development of our Early Years Practitioners. Our internal ‘Learning Zone’ offers individual learning opportunities and advancement, as well as quick resources to support Childcare Practioners at every stage of their career. Our ‘Learning and Leading with HEART’ framework supports each Bright Horizons colleague on the first steps of their leadership journey, whether that includes our ‘World-Class Welcome Induction’ or our extensive ongoing training programme.
