No, I had to get a lift to one of the branches a way out for unpaid training for the day. I wasn't happy about it whatsoever and neither were the other staff, especially as it was at the weekend. Didn't even supply lunch, we had to take our own.

Yeah you can claim expenses back through concur but it takes forever to set up an account and several attempts to do so. Some managers will give you time back for training if it is out with your normal hours, but again this is at the discretion of the manager.

Yes you do get money back for your travel there and back!. Keep your train tickets, if you have travelled using an Oyster Card just download and print a copy of your journey record for that day, and either, submit these to your line manager, or upload into your Concur account via Brightweb and your fares will reimbursed to your bank account.
