Too much paperwork, too much stress, to many mistakes all the time because of lack of proper training. Salary is low, for the 5 days you have to work. No balance between personal life and work. Small canteen, short break, not enough lockers for everyone, or place to hang your coat.

Pros

None

Cons

Low salary, stressful, 5 days out of 7.

Worst company to work

This is the worst company which you can be employed in. Barely minimum wage for graduate and expecting you to work like a robot with zero work life balance. Most of the time you have to stay late to finish work with flat rate salary, no overtime payment.Advices to new graduates who wants to get employed there: aviod them at all you will get no experience at all from this sheet indian company who is run by people with out any conscience. No experience is better than bad experience! If you land there by accident you need to leave before 6 month if you stay more than that make sure you took all your salary and holiday entitlement before you hand your notice if not they will robe your hard earned money. The experience which get from this campany is minimal you will be doing things like weighing tablets the whole days for the first few months, they will train you in HPLC if some one leaves. They don't have any personal development plan. Training is only according their needs. Aviod aviod aviod.

Good to learn and bad to stay for long time

For a fresher in job market its good place to start with and learn, but working long term in this place is not good for heath and career. Middle management is the worst and dance to the tunes of senior management. I have never seen such a worst human resources department in my life. There is no respect and appreciation for employees. If possible avoid this company.

Pros

None

Cons

Worst management, Very low wages, Unrealistic target deadlines, No career growth....

Blood suckers

I would give 0 stars if It was possible. All they care about is how much medicine go out of the site and how much they do business. Quality is compromised if needed, they don’t know what is Health and Safety. They don’t care about their employees well-being and they is no recognition. You only get progress and Salary Increments depending on how close (boot licking)you are with senior management.

Pros

Nothing

Cons

Every thing

Dont go here!

Very competitive work environment. The staff and management treat you poorly. Every member of different lines is competitive and put pressure on their operators to “reach” none existent targets. If something does go wrong, they don’t speak to you professionally but rather act as if your a 5 year old at school again. A lot of sneaky people here too. If you do make the mistake of ever getting a job here, make sure you tell them to respect you like they should £8.21 an hour for all that rubbish is not worth it

Bristol Labs

This place is good only to waste your time. The overtime rate is the same as the regular hourly payment.Full of lazy and smelly people who not care about self hygiene at all. They are making pharmaceutical products AND they false the expiry date on the tablets. If you can avoid their products please do so for your own health

Productive and challenging

I worked early shift and basically 12 hrs, worked at manufacturing department where i learnt a lot about drug compression and machine operation, through the help of supervisors. Basically in PPE gears. Hardest part is assemblying and disemblying of the compression machine during maintainance which normally happens during stage 5 or change of product. Its is lovely when the machine and powder are both fine and good.

Dont work here

The pay is rubbish for how much effort people put in! They make you do a lot of tasks and you get sacked if you make a mistake. The shift timing are absolutely horrible! The only good thing about working here is getting paid weekly , the workers are miserable and so are the people who run the place , it is a lot of stress so would not recommend !

not a bad place to work just a little chaotic

Overall Bristol Labs was not a bad place to work there was no real advancement chances and the company struggled to adhere to regulatory constraints. It is a good place to develop personal skill base

Pros

fairly close to home

Cons

culture and working environment

Awful

The staff were always rude and there was never any clear instruction, anything that needed to be done was always done by one person. Not everyone was always aware of work procedure

Until I left it was not a good company to work for

Poor work ethics, no proper training. Sadly, their internal policy during my time was not to give HPLC training before six months of working for the company. Until I left there was no payment for absence due to sickness( 1-2days of cold).

Worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor, specifically, for Dispensary department, which was at least a team of 8 people. Responsibility included to complete daily targets for manufacturing products. Maintained good GMP, CGMP and GDP practice. dealt with Audits and satisfy their queries. preparation of MBR's and review them after finish. Conducted internal Audits with the compliance report. Preparation of SOP's and conducting training for the same. Handling of critical drugs and dispense them for production. Was member of PQS champion team and health and safety department. Was an excellent firm to work with.

worst place to work

you are poorly treated in this work place. no matter how long you work there they do not value your loyalty. I actually got told on a salary review that I shouldn't want more money in life I should be happy with what I got. this place is ridiculous, if mhra knew what was happening in this place it would get shut down. there is a lot of alteration in the work and tests carried out so it meets the criteria. they constantly have new workers as old ones realise how rubbish it is to work there and end up leaving as soon as they can.
