About British Heart Foundation

News & Updates

13 September 2023
We're joining forces with noughties pop sensation S Club this month to shine a spotlight on heart conditions in memory of their much-loved band member Paul. The band are encouraging the public to support our Spotlight On campaign this month in honour of the singer who died in April this year, at the age of 46, from an underlying heart condition. Together we want to shine a spotlight on the devastating impact of hidden heart conditions, and raise funds for vital research this September. These conditions can often go undiagnosed for too long, until something goes wrong or it's too late. As part of the campaign S Club are encouraging fans and people across the country to post a picture on social media with the hand heart gesture to show their support and tagging their post with #showyourhearts.

As a world class organisation, we offer competitive salaries and an attractive package of benefits, designed to support the health and wellbeing of everyone who works here.

But more than that, we provide opportunities that are completely unique to the British Heart Foundation, such as going behind-the-scenes of cutting edge research, meeting scientists who are paving the way for future cures, and hearing from people who have directly benefited from the research we fund.

We have been recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) for our Live Well. Work Well. programme and we’re passionate about creating a mentally healthy workplace for everyone. From lunch time yoga and pilates to mindfulness sessions and team sports, we know there’s more to work than targets and being behind a screen.

Because we all achieve more together when we’re happy and healthy.
