I enjoyed working from home doing non telephony customer service advisor work but unfortunately the manager ended my assignment due to behaviour & performance.

Fast pace and lots of learning

Busy days with customers and solving their queries. Learned a lot about National Insurance, Taxes, Self Assessment, PAYE, NI registrations and enquiries and how to perform effectively with the use of Microsoft suites. There is a lot of guidance from how to use softwares to how to speak to customers and deal with queries in a quick and timely manner. Management honestly could be better - some management have no clue what they’re doing or how to guide us when things go wrong on company end. Seems quite unorganised a lot of the time. Very diverse work place and people from so many different races, ages, backgrounds which makes it so much better. Hardest part of the job would be having real time management skills and that doesn’t mean just logging on and getting ready at 9am, but duration of calls, after call work, managing your workload in an appropriate manner. Most enjoyable part of the work is the environment and having employees who value and respect you

Pros

Paid weekly

Cons

Lack of communication on management end

Hi, thank you for your review. It is very pleasing to know that Brook Street is providing a five star recruitment service.

Mental Health and service users put at risk

Anyone wanting to apply for a job here make sure you have researched them properly. You will be sent to homes which when you are given a brief from the mangers at BS you find its all wrong info and you can potentially be in difficult situations. The training provided is nothing compared to others and basically your sat down putting your career and where you have worked on day one, when you have done this and told you will be sent places which you can use your experiance you find out they send you to places that are risky , you often are not spoken to by others because your agency and you have to listen to the moans of the users about the company
