Carer in Royal Tunbridge Wells

High Turnover of staff
When I first started working here I loved it as it was my dream job but forward a few months my view changed dramatically. We were understaffed most days which made us over ratio for dogs, we would not get a break as no one was able to cover. Higher management used staff as scapegoats due to a high volume of dogs leaving but welfare of the dogs should at the forefront of everything a Doggy daycare stands for. People were forced into leaving due to being treated unfairly and disposable.

Terrible pay and working conditions
If you love spending 8 hours a day in ankle deep mud surrounded by distressed dogs this is the job for you Management do not care about you with the most ridiculous expectations of you. From working all weekend for free, buying stuff for the site out of your own money and screaming in your face if you are ever a bit upset. Make sure you never show any emotion and never complain and you might get an east ride but otherwise expect to be injured regularly and not get paid if you need time off

Poor management and lack of help
Working with the dogs is amazing but everything else is poorToo many dogs to carer ratio. Company only really cares about the money. Too many dogs put into van so it became unsafe.Alot of false promises made to Staff, if you want to be valued as a team member do not work here!Website and social media make it look alot better than what it is. Avoid

Management are shocking
Management are awful, complete lack of communication which led to multiple misunderstandings - not paid overtime despite doing it every day, not enough staff for lunch breaks, staff to dog ratio way over the council’s recommendations every single day, no budget for anything, despite the ceo of the company being able to afford multiple holidays a year. Dogs are basically thrown in a field with a team who are trying their best with no resources, energy, money or respect. Do yourself a favour and don’t work here - your love for dogs will be obliterated.

Terrible management ruins it
Very stressful and poorly run. Management cared more for taking in as many dogs as possible for money, than the dogs welfare or that of the staffs. Has such amazing potential, unfortuately falls short.
