I've worked at this company at the start of June 2019 and ever since I've always had poor experience with the managers and on the day routes. A typical day would be is that you would be part of a whats app group and you would be asked to come into work at the designated time and some of these days your manager will tell you there was no van to hire therefore you cannot work, sometimes the routes given by amazon have been reduced so they wont bother to tell you in advance as you would have to make your way there and find out yourself. I learnt that there doesn't seem to be any communications and surprisingly some of the managers lack basic English so you cant really get your point across. There doesn't seem to be any working culture and its just like a numbers game and it boils down to how quick you do the job. Another issue is Managers do not know how to take criticism and no for an answer for example sometimes manager will ask you to help someone after you've completed your route and if you say no for whatever reason they are more likely not to give you the job the next day. There are many criticism I have for this company but Ill leave you with one last advice to whoever wants to join the company, which is if the managers promise you one thing always get it in writing so you have a proof if next time you get into any kind of issues.
work on your own
I Joined Bryanston in Novemeber last year after leaving my last company in the same line of worm earlier in the year. I have found the guys at Bryanston to be much more relaxed and easy to approach compared to my previous job. The only downside to the job at the moment is the high work load which is out of the companies control. If your looking for a job with security and management who actually help out look no further.
High work load
I was at their Enfield depot since July 2020, the former manager there used to treat me well and gave me my desired shifts. He then left then we got new managers and ever since they came in, I’ve been treated poorly only given 1 or 2 days a week sometimes 0. They ask for my availability weekly and I get nothing since the new people came in. Poor company
Lack of shifts especially at Enfield now days
Just dont do it was here for a year. Started off good then towards the end of last year to beginning of this year it completely changed. Dont finish till late, are given promises that are never kept. Good luck with the fleet manager in charge of the vans aswell lol.“Pay you back all your diesel” they dont!!And hold your money after you leave and never get it back.
Money not to bad
Long days, no life, rubbish management, dont care about there drivers AT ALL!!!!
When asked about clarity over pre -interview all I got ignorance in not answering the questions. All I asked was for them to be REAL with me in what expense I can expect to iccur and if I get paid to drive back to depot and they couldn't answer me that. It really isn't difficult to answer. If your desperate then this job may be for you. But I refuse to have companies like take the p*ss
You have a job
Hidden expenses, ignorance
They wasted so much of my time and energy I would never recommend this company to anyone worst people ever please stay away because they will promise so many things that they will offer but when you start working with them, they will treat you so bad and keep hold on your money so that you can’t leave

This has been the worst company I have worked with. They treat you like slaves you can't have day off even thou your self employed and they promise you thinks then take it back ie bonus over peak period but they never gave it to anyone but expected staff to just carry in. They don't let people leave your self employed so can decide if you don't want to work, they hold wages for no reason and charge people for full excess on van for small scratch
Be careful when taking on job with this company all is not as it seems and the management are dishonest. Self employed, but told when you’re working and have to ask for certain days off so you’ll need to be available 24/7, this isn’t made clear on the induction. No guarantee of work you may get shifts cut last minute if there isn’t as much work, again not told this until after you have started. I applied for the job which was advertised to be in the area where I lived and when I started the delivery area was over an hour away from where it was advertised. This area was also close to the depot which meant it was the last wave of deliveries and if they were running late it was late morning before you even entered the depot. This consequently then meant you weren’t hitting your first stop till nearly midday so on a full route would be working till late into the evening and on top of that also had the travel home from further away rather than effectively being on my way home before I started my first delivery. Again this isn’t specified to you on the induction that this could happen. I saw the manager before I started separately and questions I asked he didn’t tell the truth they try and make it seem great and when you start you see the reality that it is not. I had my own van but the cost of renting one is very expensive and you still have to pay it even if you don’t get enough work. The free lunches are a myth your not allowed to arrive at the depot till your drop time and there isn’t anything to pick up anyway having had to wait in the canteen on my first day when I went out - more...
Kind working environment with fair management. If you bring a great work ethic you are rewarded and provided with generous free meals and occasional larger rewards. This is a company that cares for its employees and strives to provide a high standard of service. It is a shame that there have been a few members that do not care for the standard of the company.
Lunches provided and incentives for those who perform.
