Could be fun but far too much stress.

What is the best part of working at the company?Drivers....Diamond class people. Depot Manager....Diamond Class.Stores, Maintenance, office, cleaners, shift personnel....Diamonds. Didn't meet or work with one person who was difficult. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Parking.... Too far away and substandard security observance. Needs more paying attention too.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Good depending on who's shift your assigned too and the shift managers mood. The majority of the time theres good vibing going on.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Arrive, get organised, work, prepare handover and cricket to leave.

Ok place to work

Management and staff good. Planners could do a better job. Will push you to do more hours but as long as you do your minimum 12hrs you don’t have to go back out.

Started a few weeks ago and was expected to work at the same pace as other works minimum training provided and upper management do not inform you of anything to do with shift changes or any work related issues and will unless you are desperate for work please avoid

Dictatorship (unless u in the crew)

Run by a bully who likes to intimidate colleagues unless you are part of his little crew. Company has some fantastic people who get forgotten about and have no room to grow as they overworked and betrayed but people who should be there for them. Needs a complete management overhaul and then would be a great place to work as has huge potential. Would only go there if you have no ambition.

Long hours slow problem solving
Decend overall, long hours as is everywhere, slow problem solving. Lacks in management a little.. Some old lorries, but getting better. gas trucks are rediculous tho.

Good refrigerated goods transport company

Big and good transport company. Working hours can get long at a times. Annoying Different start times. Most off the trucks pritty new, but can get an old one. Salary - average, payed on time. With Work and life balance I personally struggled a bit, but overall not bad company to work with. Management helpfull.

Good trucks (not all, can get a old one as well), no loading/unloading by driver, good enough management

Good place to work if you want the hours

Drops are relatively easy but the transport office is a bit forgetful. Sometimes wouldn't let you know if the collection was cancelled so you'd just go there, get stuck behind the closed gates fun no chance to reverse out.

A poor 3 months experience at Buffaload Newark , lots of defects with the tractor units / trailers poor office management and culture towards drivers!

GOod company who have looked after employees after Newark depot closed and people lost there jobs. Other depots are still open and in my experience it was a good job with good pay and would reccomend

I currently work here good place to work,always guranteed work.they are very flexible to what days you can do when you want to start decent clean fleetgood mechanics etc etc

Having joined Buffaload in 2020 and still driving for them I can say I have no regrets, the wages have just been increased and its higher than other local companies. Family based business with good moral, a few ex LGV CE drivers are now lead drivers and support the office

The hours are long and out of the control of Buffaload ( waiting on bay to be loaded or unloaded ) however I love it the people in hr and the staff in general always there to help and always polite even when there under pressure:-)I do recommend The took me on as a new pass hgv driver thanks Buffaload:-)
