Chilled out environment and nice staff
Friendly staff, management is helpful and nice. There’s always something different to learn every day. Good taste quite nice, free meals when working and get staff discount for friends and family. A chilled out environment and love to laugh when it’s not busy. Can be chaotic sometimes when busy however we laugh it off afterwards.

Bad higher managment
For a company that likes to progress people there doesn't seem to be any progress after a certain point. You end up in a role for years on end waiting around for progression. The staff are all paid minimum wage on a zero hour contract and the hours are shocking. Always understaffed having to work 2 or 3 different stations at a time. Higher management don't really care about what happens at store level providing targets are met. Hardly any communication from head office. Area managers don't seem to coach or develop their teams. Always get made to feel bad for not hitting a target even though sometimes it's out of your control. Company as a whole don't understand that you can't drag customer of the street and make them spend money.

Productive, progressive, and nice company to work for. My experience at Burger King was excellent. I would love to work for Burger King again in the future

Mentally exhausting
The job itself was fine, but the management was really bad and barely non existent. Young people gossiping and slacking off a lot so you had to do their work. Bad atmosphere, loads of entitled customers coming in. My mental health went so bad I nearly attempted suicide.

fun workplace
Loved working within Burger King, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend others to work there. However, pay is not as good as it should be.
