Nursery Practitioner in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Very rewarding
Fast paced environment but very rewarding seeing the children grow. You can also do your qualifications and work at the same time. Staff are friendly, management are helpful.

Best place to work
I have been at Busy Bees for nearly 4 years, I started as an Apprentice and have progressed to being a Room Manager. Our nursery provides a welcoming setting for those looking for a place to work or a place for their child. The staff all work well as a team, being professional at all times. I have been lucky enough to do both my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare, while working here. On-site training is available at all times to enhance your knowledge, while you have a full time job.The management are amazing. They always have your back and make sure that your supported in whatever you do.

Poor staff culture
No training, left to figure everything out for yourself, clicky staff. On first day I was left alone stood in the room for 2 hours as no one would tell me what they wanted me to do and ignored.
Nursery Nurse level 4 in Chesger

Absolute mess of a company!
This company is a joke to work for contracted to 45 hours but they arr that understaffed that they leave you out of ratio and still consider it unreasonable to ask for help or cover for breaks. They care more about the money than the children and there was numerous times I'd have to stay until late at night to do paperwork or displays or clean my room as I felt the children were more important than paper. Staying behind after shift was not recognised by the manager and had no extra pay or benefits. Salary was shocking too and I am level 4 qualified.
Deputy Manager in Belper, Derbyshire

I have been working for busy bees coming up to 8 years and during my time I started off as trainee and now currently working as a depty manger.
I enjoy working with my work colleagues and can honestly say working in childcare no 2 days are ever the same and I love it they is plenty of opportunities with the training team to grow and go higher within your role
