I wouldn't recommend several several parts of Buzz and there are some nasty people in management roles. There are some good teams like clubs and digital, but be careful in all the others.
Pros
If you like playing bingo.
Cons
Random management vindictiveness

Always a warm greeting when walking through the doors. Was a good shift from start to finish. Hard work at times but well worth it. Was put through an apprenticeship with company. Only one trust worthy member of management out of 3. Hardest part of the job was late lock up shifts but you were nearly always giving the next day off, if not a later start time. Most parts of the job were enjoyable.
Pros
Discounted food and drink
Cons
Late nights

Enjoyed this job more than any other I’ve had. The whole team are supportive and friendly. So many opportunities to become something bigger and better than what you believe you could be, 100% would advise people to work with buzz bingo
Pros
Opportunity to work your way up
Cons
Have to be able to work well under pressure

I am thoroughly enjoying my time at Buzz Bingo. It is a lovely place to work for and our personal management team are amazing. We are one big family. The only downside is it is difficult to balance work and social. You’re required to work atleast one weekend day and our busiest sessions are in the evening, so I barely get to see my partner as he works 9-5 and I usually work evenings. Other than that, it’s fun and no day is the same. There are so many departments to gain experience on which is great for future careers. The customers are mostly lovely, with a handful of despicably rude ones for good measure. All in all, a lovely company to work for who provide good training.
Pros
Friendly, fun, diverse
Cons
Long and unsociable hours. Pay could be better to make up for rude customers

If you are happy with nepotism and a Leadership Team who stands by the motto of 'do what I say and not as I do' then this might be the place for you. These guys are here for a good time, not a long time and are desperate to sell the business to line their pockets whilst staff at the clubs are subjected to ever-decreasing hours and higher levels of staff. Dreadful place to work, I feel sorry for some of the good people that stay and hope it'll get better.
Pros
Home time.
Cons
Nepotism

Had a lot of fun working for buzz (gala) bingo, was not great for work life balance but the job was social enough, it did get stressful at times but with good colleagues it's easy to overcome, i unfortunately had to get a new job as our club closed but given the chance I would love to work there again.
Pros
Cheap lunch, colleague free bingo
Cons
Split shifts

Terrible place to work ,full of bullies . waste of time telling HR if u are being bullied as they are only for the business not for the staffs welfare .No future working there ,as admissions are going down every year and I am not surprised as they RIP customers off by charging them £3.20 for a chip buttie! Which u can count how many chips on buttie on one hand. Also no investment in clubs....most have duck tape on carpet to hold it down and on seats which are ripped.Few have roofs leaking for years and when rains they taped seats off and put buckets there to catch rain dripping in.Company is doomed ....bad management and HR

One of the worst companies to work for I lasted 2+ years of abuse, backstabbing, long hours and no decent social life. If full time you are expected to work five/six days a week and split shifts start ten finish three then start again at six finish at eleven. No support from management at all so many promotions that you are constantly busy and on skeleton staff. So many people quitting phoning in sick most of week don't even get chance to have break as need two people in certain departments. Staff backstabbing you all the time to progress in the business. Taking holidays is a joke and like a lottery to book. Customers started not to go again as saw how badly run the places are. Stay clear wetherspoons is better!!!! They more interested in the gaming side and push the slots, than the bingo which seems to play second fiddle
Pros
Some staff great. Customers like to have banter.
Cons
Long hours, no progression, wages poor, no support, no training and lake of social life

Most stressful job I've ever had.. No morals, vulgar language in office, Ridiculous hours. Finish late back in very early. I've worked in sales and customer services for a long time. Been an account manger ' sales manager took this due to redundancy due to covid 19.. had to walk out of this job, for my own health and morals.. I have standards and morals ..this company doesn't!!. Times are hard but I had to walk
Pros

I loved my job at Buzz. I loved who I worked with and always felt like it was a fun place to work until management changed and then it became serious nothing was fun anymore customers picked up on this too. Bingo is meant to be ‘fun for all’ but in the end it turned into a job I just had to do. It’s an ideal job for someone that’s after a flexible job to work around them as no matter what I needed off I could always work around it to ensure I was off. I do miss my co-workers and customers. Training does need addressed.
Pros
Co-workers, customers
Cons
Long days

Team can be a bit cliquey, but you get out what you put in. Not a place for real introverts. A lot of big personalities, but few clashes. Just a lot a people passionate about enjoying work
Pros
Good team, food subsidy
Cons

Started working for the company over 15 years ago when it was gala, was the most amaizing place to work. Your general manager knew the business, knew what tje customers wanted and knew how to run a club and had the freedom to do what they wanted to make the business succesful. As the years went on the local control dwindled and the company took away all control. All control has been taken away from heneral managers and it has become pretty much a one size fits all kind of business. We now have managers that dont know the business and managers that will just do anything to look good to the top brass. Boost.... what a joke. Most managers that knew the business have been forced out now and things will only get worse. Wake up buzz and give back control to managers to make the business thrive again. The clubs have lost nearly all personality. Such a shame
Pros
The people
Cons
The exec and top brass
