Work-life balance

Reviews

ADR Driver in Stoney Stanton
on 26 April 2021
Work if U need it
Pay was on the lower end with a high turnover of staff.. Some people who had long service mostly say it used to be a good job. The skills you can get at Calor ADR HIAB etc are worth the low pay because once trained you've get much better pay elsewhere.
Transport Supervisor in Coryton, Essex

All good until restructuring
Company does a restructure every 5 years, possibly they feel they need to get rid of to many staff. But they kept inexperienced staff on instead. Play with people’s livelihoods. Then palm off important jobs to inexperienced staff. Baffling!!
HGV Class 1 Driver in Immingham

Plant Operator in Port Clarence

Management are a joke
Decent lads, that's about it, management is poor beyond belief, job is easy enough, agency don't speak to calor and vice versa, management don't have a clue what's actually going on on the shopfloor, aslong as you turn up you'll keep your job, regardless of how lazy and unwilling you are to learn.
HGV Class 1 Driver in North East

Great
Its very hard work, but the pay is good.Treat you well and the management are friendly and supportive.Training is very good and plentiful. They ask if you want to work overtime and no pressure.Only gripe I have is the vehicles. You switch around alot. Would be great to have your own.
