Capita TV Licensing's shift pattern was atrocious and many of my former colleagues worked late shifts each week. You are expected to make time back if the business changes its opening and closing hours.
The company does not care for employees needs, although you can request flexible working hours in writing and then see occupational health if you want reduced hours. This is only possible after you have worked for a certain period of time.
Good working hours
Only decent thing about the company 7.30 earliest shift 6.39 latest.
Not flexible. You have to be flexible for them but they won't accommodate you at all, ever.
Don't ever be a disability assessor, because they will want you to work as many as they can get out of you before you quit ! Including your traveling time you will do 50hours a week, easy. Terrible company and job.
You are promised a family friendly life work balance.
This is not the case and pressures from management for their bonuses make you work 12 to 14 hours a day 6 to 7 days a week.
Long hours and weekends
As a supply teacher you are contacted day by day early in the morning and told what school to go to for the day to replace members of staff off sick or other.
The teaching given is rarely your specialist subject , lesson plans are usually provided .
Various different working patterns.
