136 questions about working at Capita
Rubbish, and there's no accountability for supervisors and above - everything is your fault
Answered 5 July 2019Honest answer is I still work here and some days I feel like hanging myself. Can't afford to quit, difficult to get a new job in current climate. Management take advantage of this by giving lighter workloads to those who are most likely able to afford to leave (ie still living at home, no bills or kids to support etc) to keep them happy, while dumping huge workloads on those that financially can't afford to leave. Each day becomes a toss up between going in to get the bills paid, or hanging yourself because you get so worked up about the absolute s**tfest you already know you're walking into. Please, if you're thinking of applying for a job here, don't do it. You're worth so much more than this pile of s**t job and horrible company. No one deserves to have bad management constantly ripping your head off to s**t down your neck day in day out until you hit absolute breaking point.
Answered 20 November 2020As a disability assessor you’ll soon find out all they care about is targets and statistics, your forced to work as much as they can get out of you! Very uncaring towards staff and by the very high turn over of DAs this is obvious! The work environment is severely depressing and monotonous
Answered 20 February 2018Awful. Very departmental, big blame culture.

Answered 19 January 2020Stressful, too much emphasis on stats, call after call no time to take a breather, expectation of getting everything spot on hence why a turnover of agents. Capita would be a excellent place to work if they relaxed enough to let us enjoy our work.
Answered 25 October 2020Stressful, not a nice environment, too strict!
