Start by getting competent people
Change the culture . Appreciate and recognise good work and give employees autonomy and stop micro-management.
Stop treating people like robots and statistics, unrealistic targets make you feel like a failure every day. Business managers have no idea about pip reports or the required detail!
Get people to grow up
Put together a comprehensive training programme for everyone in their respective roles. Sort out the people roles and implement quickly. Give the management teams some leadership training and root out the bullys who drag the company down
Stop being selfish bullies
Improve the work environment
Treat us like people not robots or statistics. A bit of respect doesn't cost anything.
Recognise that without the staff, management wouldn't have their job.
Repgnise that happy staff are more productive.
Let them have some plants in the office!
Learn the job they're managing. It's shameful my managers couldn't do my job - how am I supposed to ask for help when they have no clue?
Help people with better work life balance which is not the case at the moment so that they stay forever.
Try not to upload their souls to work and squeeze them dry to rinse them for more and more profits, leaving them tired, worn out and exhausted by the end of every shift.
The trick is to turn work into play. If you can do that, there would be no reason to leave for anyone and profits would naturally increase without effort as people are happier and therefore more loyal to the company.
Ill do 40 hours for you for a meagre £19062 per annum but help me with my shifts to create the work life balance I so desperately need and I will stay for at least a decade.
Please move away from a call centre mentality. Its awful.
