Lovely people very reasonable on hours and flexibilitiy dull work
As you can imagine for a card shop the work is fairly dull, but lovely team and generally relaxed atmosphere makes for an enjoyable place to work .Sales Assistant in Bingley, West Yorkshire

Avoid!!!
In alll my years Card Factory is by far the worst place I have every worked. The company it's self is awful but I'll focus on management. In my time at this location, I have had 3 store managers and they got progressively worse. If your not store manager/Assistant manager or a key holder YOU ARE TRASH to them, they will suck up ALL shifts they can fill there pay check and the under spend on hours so they can look good to the corporate and give you nothing more than your contract hours and when your contract is 8hrs a week you can't live on it. I cry when I can't afford food for the month and have to live on bread and jam. But they don't care. Avoid this place.Sales Assistant in North East

Horrendous place to work
Do not work here unless you want to be clinically depressed. Managers are narcissists who think your life evolves around the company. Phone always rings on your day off to cover a shift but when you say no your given the silent treatment the next day Two faced co-workers who will stab you in the back any chance they get. Boring repetitive work. Rubbish pay for what they ask you to do Temporary Sales Assistant in Dunstable

Did not stick to promises
Poor at keeping to promises, expected to work very long hours but contracted for only 5 hours . Kept on only until useful then ended without notice. Management were brilliant then changed and made working there awful Retail Assistant in Lincoln

Awful place
Shifts were always added last minute and never notified or asked, some would change location on the day so you wouldn't know til you walked in, I was missing half of my first paycheck and never felt to fit in, left alone on the shop floor often and told to train new staff two days in and even thwn I wasn't trained on balloons through my entire time, you're forced to sell products on to customers at the tills even to people buying funeral cards and the lack of stock was troubling What would you say about your employer?
