How long are the breaks at work ?

11 answers

  • Breaks are officially 2x15 minutes and another 30 min in a 12 h shift and are unpaid!
Realistically you don’t seem to have more than 20 minutes, so you’re worked on minimum pay or for free.

  • Doubt you will get more than 10 mins unless your management and you get the whole shift

  • 15 mins morning, 30 mins lunch and 15 mins evening for a shift of 12 hours.

  • 20 minnits

  • Its one long break if your clever enough to skive off.

  • 5 mins at a time allowed to take 3 breaks

  • 90 minutes for lunch and 2x30 minute coffee breaks.

  • Your lucky to have a break in a Care U-K Nursing Home-AVOID!

  • You had 5 mins to get from one call to the next. Your breaks between mornings and lunchs and teas and bed calls depended on the length of your rota.

  • It's up to the individual due to the nature of the work.
