How long does it take from when you have the interview and to start work

I got hired within a Month from the Interview date. BF

Went for interview and got offered a job the next day via telephone call with agreement I would complete part time training as I have young children I was told dates of part time training durig this phone call, in which i later got back to them informing them on which date I wanted. Handed in my notice as encouraged to by the recruitment person if I was successful who arranged my interview as they would want to book my training soon as possible. We then started to talk about a rota in which took a while to be agreed and approved as I was unhappy that the job had been falsely advertised as it had been advertised as a commitment to working every other weekend only to then be told I would actually have to complete half my working weekly hours over every weekend therefore we agree to reduce my hours and I would work every weekend. I recieved an email back saying this had been approved finally by resource planning. Two months past my job notice ended and i was still awaiting a training date as those previous ones no longer existed and they had no part time ones available. I was then informed after all of this that west Midland ambulance had taken over and were not providing any part time training and couldn't give me a definitive answer if they would be in future but were apparently going to have a meeting and get back to me within a week. Over a week passed and I was informed that because I hadn't had a rota approved and agreed they were unable to process and continue with my job offer!!! I had spoken to someone who interviewed after myself but is able to complete full time training, who has NOT yet agreed a rota that she has been assured her job offer is secure! I am now left unemployed and feel like a total fool. I feel I have been completely mugged off and misinformed from the start. So basically I didnt even get to the point of employment after interview!! I am aware it is not the complanies fault it was taken over, but it was make out that the managers had no knowledge of this until I was eventually told in which I do not believe.

Around 4 weeks had to wait for dbs and references.. from what I remember regarding new starters if they had a change of heart/heard a rumour about someone/face didn't fit with other staff they wouldn't call them back or fobbed them off.. shocking management narcissistic power hungry lazy unprofessional two faced fools, my advise is do not work for this company!

Depends how long it takes for your employment docs to be checked. I started working for Care UK in about nearly 3 weeks after I had the interview.

Months rather days but if you've told any lies you could be waiting a couple of years.

I was interviewed in Stowmarket and by the time I got home to stowupland there was a letter waiting saying go and jump.
