Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Leamington Spa - 6 June 2023

Don’t care about staff welfare when I was there.Job was back breaking and no support from management. Team leaders were very horrible with discriminatory attitude . Team work was always a problem with some forming their own group of friends and family. A lot of pretence. Hopefully they have improved now.

Pros

Pay was fair, nice care home that I would have to loved to stay with.

Cons

Not supportive, letting good people leave without finding out the real reasons. Makes me feel bad.

They are ok , provides staffs with lunch, gives you a listen ear. Equipped you with trainings. Some staffs are supportive while some are awful, generally there are good staffs and team leaders .

All I can say is that if you do not enjoy working closely with people, have a passion for helping and caring for people do not attempt to work here. Because the job is demanding but can be very fun and exciting...You work with amazing staff and wonderful residents you can look forward to seeing everyday.

Poor experience

Wouldn't wish to drag the organisation or home down, but those who have been there will understand. Changes in management need to be made and I'm shocked it has been left as it is for so long.
