You’ll love the job, very rewardingI’ve been with Cartello for over 4 years now, a lot has changed with management they are now approachable and will listen if you have problems. I am self employed so you choose when you can work, you do this a month in advance. I would like more money but doesn’t everyone say this. I absolutely love my job, every day is different and you meet the most amazing people. Give it a go, you’ll love it.

Best thing I ever did 🎉I’ve worked at cartello for just under 2 years and it’s the best thing I ever did, I’ve learnt so many new things and there’s never a dull moment, the support from all management is always there to answer any question or to help solve any problems, all I can say is thank you for having me on board. It’s a pleasure to work in the company.

Awful communication if any at allI applied for a job to work at Cartello and got the job on the day, it took them about 2 weeks to sort out my first shadow shift and now I have left they are refusing to pay me the 15 hours I am owed! DO NOT WORK HERE awful management and no support! Lack of communication lack of organisation, would not at all recommended this company.

Large lack of communications throughout the businessI love the job i do working for Cartello, but being self employed has its down sides. the hours can be long which i expected but your hours aren't guaranteed nor frequently offered. they are on a first come first served basis so if you accidentally miss the phone call / text message you loose out on work for that day. All of the ambulances are old second hand vans that all have a large list of problems. there is always a van or two needing to be fixed or off the road. Management lacks communication, and organisation. I understand that it is an ambulance company and that things can come through fast and unexpectedly, but there are no procedures in place. as well as this they fail to support their employees needs after difficult jobs. Overall i enjoy what the job entails, however the company cartello itself is a company i will never come back to.
