Optimistic Management
Every day of the week varies, this is an example of a typical day based on the average of types of tasks performed throughout the week.
Clock into work, spend 10 minutes planning the day and then get right into responding to my emails, clearing any queries, resolving any problems and fill requests for staff.
Conduct candidate interviews, review documentation and complete due diligence to ensure full compliance of the candidate OR Call potential clients and focus on business development
Screen candidates that have applied for roles, perform telephone interview to gauge the character of the person and confirm the details on their CV and if satisfactory invite to complete registration and arrange a time and date for interview.
Rinse and repeat until lunch time.
After lunch spend 15 - 30 minutes on social media advertising the company, make new connections, build on existing relationships and source potential clients and candidates.
Conduct candidate interviews, review documentation and complete due diligence to ensure full compliance of the candidate OR Call potential clients and focus on business development
In this role I learned the skills of a 360 recruiter, managing the entire process from the first meeting with client to placing a new staff member on their first shift. I have become adept at managing busy workloads whilst prioritizing my time and focus on urgent matters.
The management are very thoughtful and supportive, they have a good level of knowledge of the sector and have an excellent ethos as regarding the temporary staff and the clients.
Hardest part of the job was building up the company profile, client list and bank of temp staff from scratch.
There's a good sense of humor within the company and overall they are nice people.
