Steel Worker in Skinningrove, North Yorkshire

Really work for what you earn
If you’re looking for somewhere to advance in the industry this isn’t the place for you. You start off on agency as every one does and you could be waiting 3-5 years before you get a full time contract. Even though you’re doing the same job as everyone if you’re on agency you don’t get sick pay or access to caterpillar shares. Another thing is that you only get 30 mins break in 12 hours, yes you can go to the toilet or quickly grab a bite but only if you have the time. The work itself is very repetitive and boring, also expect to be doing the same thing over and over again for months as they don’t move people around different areas. Poor management
Very poor management they aren’t from the steel industries or even a engineering. Is very hard for them to explain to exorcised welders and platers when they don’t have a clue what they are doing Assembly Operator in Leicester
