Customer Service Manager (CSM) (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 31 March 2023
Low paid company with rotten working atmosphere. Long working hours, low salary, stupid rules make your life so tough. Only have 14 days of annual leave per annum. Some of the senior staffs are unfriendly and mean.

Just ok
Engineer (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 25 March 2022
just ok but not as good as the golden age of cathay. Most expereienced people has left the company already. COVID is hitting the industry hard and the city is struggling.

Senior Purser (Former Employee) - Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 & 3 Station - 22 September 2021
Cathay Pacific is my life. I worked there for 15 years. I enjoyed all the benefits that comes with it after working for more than 10 years. I am still enjoying my travel benefits till today, my children and my husband also included in this travel benefits. Well done Cathay Pacific, I am always missing the good old days flying over Kai Tak Airport overlooking the people’s washing line. I have the best memories being working and living in Hong Kong, thanks to this successful airline,
Pros
Good travel benefits and ood tax free food allowances
Cons
Understandably long working hours due to long haul flights and destination

Biased managers and blaming culture
Passenger Service Officer (Former Employee) - London Heathrow Airport, Greater London - 1 November 2020
Cathay Pacific is an exceptional Airline( if you are a customer ) that promotes Great Customer service . I mat some incredible people working there and made some friends for life . They are Incredibly strict , not everybody got fair chances to progress plus they implement constant disciplinaries for everything and blaming culture. Every supervisor is afraid of the next one up and when something goes wrong everybody is quick to shift the blame. Overtime wasn't well paid and you are expected to do it due to the nature of the job. Many people got promoted because friendly with management but they had no idea on how to manage people at all and would often go against procedures to please customers but then they would force you to follow procedures ( to look good with customers themselves). Overall not worth joining now as things have changed and not many benefits left ....... just stress
Pros
Used to get discounted tickets
Cons
Biased Managers, bullying, blaming culture, high turnover of staff
