Just like any other "care" company
Health Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Tranent - 24 October 2023
Wouldn't recommend. I've worked for all the care companies and this is by far the worst. Absolutely zero compassion for staff or for clients, they can't get clients times correct so you're left to take the fall for it. If a family member is ill don't expect any compassion from management, be prepared to be met with hostility if you need to call off. Pay is never reflected in your wage slip, don't get paid for the training as they state (and there is alot, constantly), hours are long especially for walkers, more work put on you without being asked and you can work 8 hours and not get any break while walking about in freezing conditions and not provided anything to keep warm. Another care company that doesn't actually care, ironic. Very high staff turnover and I can see why. Treat your staff with more respect and you will find they will work harder.
