Manager in England
on 13 February 2021
Trying to be the best but failing
Focus is on being employer of choice, lots of tick box exercises. Instead, they've lost the focus of customer service and value of good employees. Pay is decent but management roles work hard for their money. Reactive company rather than proactive, with too little investment in vehicles. Fleet is very old. HR department not involved as they should be but with a HR Director, how can staff be neutrally biased? Company is run by Sales staff resulting in the tail wagging the dog situation.

If your face fits your ok
If your not prepared to brown nose the clueless management steer clear as you will be singled out and the pressure will be applied. There is a bulling culture from the management.
Credit Controller in Larbert, Falkirk

Toxic environment
The staff that work there make this place a toxic place to work. Between confidential information being casually passed from the head of the department to some of the work force. Team leaders not sharing the same practices or policies. Members of the team gossiping and sharing their own private information (it gets quite graphic) to the same person have body odour issues and management not doing a thing about it. Pressure placed on a daily call target although they stress to you that they are not a call centre. If you suffer from any mental health issues, they don't care although they state that they do. Timed breaks and if you are 30 seconds late back from your allocated break expect your manager to bring this up during your coaching sessions/121. If you go over & above by working late to clear workloads etc expect to be questioned on why as if they are looking for ways to disapprove.

Route for depression
It could be a good company if they sacked all the managers ..and employed someone who cares for their employees.. they stitch drivers up to cover their own dishonesty.. I would not recommend working for this company to my own worst enemy.. you get worked to death with no reward !! You are as good as your last delivery and the management don’t believe a word you say .. if you want to be on anti depression tablets come and work here it’s has a awful atmosphere about it everyone is miserable as sin .. and you are always in the wrong ....
