Great work environment although pay and progression could improve.
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) - Kettering, Northamptonshire - 1 February 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeed1. The days go fast due to the 3 brake split. 2. Job diversity due to multiple customers on site. 3. Management is friendly and approachable although there has been cases of female favoritism. 4. People are generally positive. 5. Can be hard to stay motivated when most similar companies pay more. 6. An easy place to make friends.
Pros
Generally good people and positivity.
Cons
Lack of progression and pay is lower than most warehouses.

Great place of work
Lorry Driver Class 1&2 (Current Employee) - Brentwood, Essex - 31 January 2023
Great place for new drivers, they give professional training. Work is easy and without pressure. Money are not the best but perfect place to get experience or if you are on the end of you carrier and you looking for peaceful place of work. Highly recommended for people who want to spend more time with family and the money are not the most important for them

Good people at Bristol
7.5 tonne driver (Former Employee) - Bristol - 2 January 2023
Depot supervisor does everything he can to help with the days work , and so do all of the perminant staff , unfortunately upper management (arent from the sothwest area) dont give a toss if you end up working a 16+ hour day , then have you in at 4.30am next day , and whoever does the routing hasnt got a clue , also the work itinary , they tend to add extra routes on to your day , cos its all about the money . Thats ceva the company for you , not the guys at the depots .
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours

Work
Customer Co-ordinator (Former Employee) - Felixstowe - 25 November 2022
Poor management culture - miscommunication, misundertandings, rage. Salary and bonus ok. However, nothing to enjoy. Job easy, but sometimes longer hours to complete, overtime not paid.

Liked the place
C & D driver (Former Employee) - Bristol - 15 November 2022
They don't treat you like dog do ! They communicate daily with you and try to help you keep legal. A good company. Only left due to a 75mile round trip to work each day.

Fabulous company who really care
QUALITY & PROCESS MANAGER (Former Employee) - Kent - 1 November 2022
You really have a voice at CEVA. They also put health and safety at the heart of everything they do. Ideas for improvement are encouraged and customers and employees really matter. Not the best pay - but if you are keen and show an intrest in development- it is available in bucket fulls.

Jobs at CEVA Logistics
Not a bad place to work
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Max Park Corby - 1 November 2022
Worked there for almost 3 years. Overall, not a bad place to work. Can be fast-paced, can be slow-paced depends on where they put you. Friendly staff, approachable managers, especially in a morning shift.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Can be stressful especially before Christmass

Not a good workplace
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Witney - 31 October 2022
The supervisors are rude and unfriendly especially the supervisors working in the shift from 2 to 10 pm They do not listen to our problems They hardly to listen to what we have to say They fire you from job without prior notice They expect you to finish a heavy job within the limited time as if we are robots who never get tired Communication level is poor across the supervisors and the rest of the staff there They never let you sit idle I’m not saying it’s a bad thing It’s just that they don’t give us a chance to breathe They don’t provide safety gears
Pros
No pros
Cons
Stressful work environment, unfriendly staff

By far the worst company culture ever
Logistics Coordinator (Former Employee) - Hucknall - 25 October 2022
Easily the worst company I have ever worked for. Employees are treated like prisoners, not valued workers who are individual humans with a life outside of work. If you are even more than four minutes late to a shift, you are docked 15 minutes of pay. This is non-negotiable and doesn't matter if you stay back to make up the hours or not. The warehouse where we were placed was going for some kind of prison-chic aesthetic which made it an extremely unpleasant environment to work in. Managers were constantly on call out of hours which suggests that the company expected round the clock service for average wages - sets a horrible example for the rest of the employees. Good work was only ever rewarded with more work, not better pay or anything else that might make a difference in someone's life right now. Extremely stressful and toxic environment that will not ever be corrected unless management gets their unrealistic expectations under control. A shame that many talented, smart and hard working individuals waste their time and effort in a company such as this one.
Pros
Good people, decent hourly rates
Cons
Ridiculous rules, hours and short breaks

Wouldn't recommend
VNA driver (Former Employee) - Stanton Harcourt - 14 October 2022
Absolute waste of my life It's like being in school again I'm 28 not 5 years old. The management are clueless and the supervisors are even worst. You start your day with a registration and if you don't answer to your name you don't get paid for the day and always start the morning with bad news so its always the worst way to dtart your day. Get told off for speaking to anyone even if you are doing your job so they expect you do be silent and do your job. That only goes for some people for their favourite people they allow them to do what ever they want. The job it self is good it's all easy work but it's the management / supervisors that make that place impossible to be happy. A few areas are a really unsafe place to work at and if you hurt your self they try and turn it around on you. So they don't look bad. Struggle to get any agency's or any perm staff at all and then wonder why. Maybe the company should look at taking away a few supervisors as many have told me they are the reason for people leaving as for me I was let go off because my probation stated I wasn't allowed a single day off for 3 months and being human I got really sick and had no choice but to take a day off and for that reason my probation was terminated. If you want to work in a happy and safe place then thus place isn't it.
Pros
Not much at all
Cons
Management/ supervisors

Bad place to work
Warehouse Team Leader (Current Employee) - Wolverhampton - 9 September 2022
The wolverhampton site is managed by incompetents with no experience in logistics they promise you a lot of things but never deliver and each and every week for agency staff and every month for full time colleagues you will have issues with your payslips you raise a pay query and goes unanswered they still owe me money.
