CGM GROUP Employee Review
Work in progress
Grounds Maintenance Operative (Current Employee) - North West - 31 October 2022
This organisation has recently taken over the vegetation management contract with the Canal and River trust. They're still learning, adapting and finding they're feet. There is still room for improvement but overall a great company to work with.
Pros
Simple and straightforward work
Cons
Need a reasonable level of fitness

Groundsman (Former Employee) - Norwich - 23 August 2022
Shocking place to work to managers have no back bone. Seasonal work but lies of full time work. Shocking company and shocking leadership from brain and team in Downham market. Don't believe a word said by them. Vans and trailers not fit for purpose. Only positive is the people on the ground
Pros
Staff
Cons
Lies from managers

Dont work here, poor enviromemt
Grounds Maintenance Operative (Former Employee) - Essex - 20 July 2022
Where to begin... i started working here in february 2022 and left recently, in the job advert it simply stated past experience is preffered, and driving licence is required as we would be covering the whole of our surrounding area and would their for need to to drive a transit van, a few people had neither past experience or a driving licence so people like myself would have to drive so far in a day often without a back up driver just incase i injured myself to the point where i couldnt drive. The job is overall one to avoid as its a minimum wage paying company and you have to do so much overtime its unreal, they simply stated 7am-5pm but their was loads of 7am-7pm days. So overall do i recommend this company ? No, would i work their again ? Not even if i was being paid 4 grand a mont untaxed money, so overall AVOID THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT.
