Large workload, alot of travel job to job, actual work is good but never enough workers, people leave constantly so always short staffed, tools always need fixing or replacing, hard to progress, promises made are not fullfilled by management i.e.wage increase or job progression or courses needed to do the job legally and safely, left to your own devices alot not much management contact, wages go up when minimum wage increases not before, not much job recognition from senior management
Pros

Worst company I have ever been involved with
Operative (Current Employee) - Cgm - 30 March 2022
If I could rate it below one star I would. Overworked, underpaid, understaffed, constantly lied to by management, very very high staff turnover, do not fix machinery when broken, when given a task management do not tell you the full job so you do what you can then you're held accountable because you didn't finish the job properly, promised training (for nearly 2 years) that has never materialized. The list is endless. Once I can find a more suitable job I will be gone

Work in progress
Grounds Maintenance Operative (Current Employee) - North West - 31 October 2022
This organisation has recently taken over the vegetation management contract with the Canal and River trust. They're still learning, adapting and finding they're feet. There is still room for improvement but overall a great company to work with.
Pros
Simple and straightforward work
Cons
Need a reasonable level of fitness
