Bullying, non stop even to senior staff. The Merseyside office even has a term formiy , the Liverpool Mafia, and it is supported by very senior staff.

I have counted numerous good fair and humane staff " taken out" by bullies and where some in the gang of managers and selected staff can coast through life the rest live in fear of their mental health never mind their job. Several colleagues have literally died from stress within this place.

Blame culture

Poor training, culture of bureaucracy and being seen to do the right thing. Very poor management, who (in our department) made a lot of noise about working hard, but didn't follow that up.
