Detective Sergeant in Chester

Great to work for.
You get out what you put in. Able to achieve great results. Rewarded for working hard. No requirement to work long hours. Flexible approach and consider needs of staff
Administrator in Winsford, Cheshire

Admin role
The job is great if you are looking for something to clock down till retirement but if you have any aspiration to achieve more or progress don’t bother. Pay is good for the hours you do but meant to have flexi time which doesn’t exists. Had to fight to be able to work from home being CEV. Managers are just managers not leaders and are unapproachable. I could go weeks without speaking to them
Back office support in Winsford, Cheshire
on 21 June 2020
Yeah if you are into office politics go for it.
Was back office support for years before I left. Often had managers who wanted to make an impact before leaving. Office politics was rife as well as harassment. Bosses would often turn a blind eye until.it became an embarrassment for them. If you want to work there do so as a police officer or in a frontline department. Sont bother doing back office work. It is not worth it.

Management 👎
They say they care. They ‘big up’ on caring about staff but it’s a load of rubbish. I’ve never been so unhappy in a place of work. No one cares about anybody but the small cliques that they’re in. Staff morale is very low. I left because I couldn’t stand the depressive state. If you’re in a ‘top role’, everything will seem fine but if you’re working under that role then you see how miserable staff are.
