Started off amazing quickly went down hill

The first 5 months were a dream and I loved every minute of working with Christian Dior but as the months went off it just started to slowly not being an enjoyable as I wanted it to be really bad management, there was little to no communication to and from line managers when you needed to support and guidance you had to do everyone else’s job or nothing would get done. The only good thing was allocation and I only ever received 1 of those and I was there for nearly 2 years.

Pros

Training

Cons

Long hours, management, pay

Grear company to start or continue luxury retail experience

Overall used to be a great company with a lot of company incentives, package including health care and good pension benefits. Brings you to the top of Luxury Retail where you have a great opportunity for growth in retail industry and build your career. I enjoyed working in Dior Boutique. Uniform included. Staff Sale included. Training in Paris and London also was part of our general package.

I love my job

Current employee at Dior, I love working for Dior, best job iv ever had, Competitive, fast paced, lots of things to learn about. excellent manager. Never want to leave! The only downfall is the pay, other companies are paying more than Dior today. Also after reading others reviews about it being horrendous, I really think it depends on your area manager, as mine is the best!

Pros

Extra paid afternoon breaks, freebies, training and e-learnings, extra hours if requested.

Cons

Low pay

Mixed bag but overall good

I worked for Dior for 2 years and I have to admit I did see a change in from being all about luxury service to hard selling. It is very selling oriented rather than about the quality of service you give to a customer but that being said they are still a good company to work for. My area manager was okay but not very supportive or involved. The perks were good like allocation and a free product every time something new launch but do not go for this role if you are uneasy with hard/up selling.

Pros

Allocation

Cons

Hard selling

Amazing

Christian Dior is still very dear to my heart and it has been two years since I lost my job due to a store closing they are an amazing company filled with amazing managers who support you so much you have to but in the graft but if you do the perks are so rewarding and the people you meet you will love and respect for life I have no bad things to say about the company even our conferences where the best yes you would have just wake up at 5am in the morning but so worth it and you wouldn’t get home till nine at night but you would be treated like queens taken to lovely places learn so much about the company and products and was just overall an amazing company would recommend to anyone x

Fast paced, creative and sales

My time with Dior was full of learning and experiencing how to negotiate with your clients is paramount for success in the role, high sales targets but for good reason as the products to work with are phenomenal and clients love them!

Pros

Product allocation, networking

Cons

Low pay

Horrible company to work for

Absolutely disgusting company to work for. After a length long service they can get rid of you over something so small and this seems to happen regularly. It ruins people mental health and affects you long term so please when I say don’t go for this job as it’s nothing like they make it out to be!

Had terrible time working for Dior

I was fragrance consultant a few years ago .Wasn’t allowed commission if covered counter only allowed on fragrance?Had a really annoying selfish account manager.Training wasn’t good until at least 2 months into job?I wish I had stayed at my other job but led to believe Dior better?Job should’ve been advertised as a fragrance and beauty consultant job like a lot of other companies do?

Pros

Free gifts

Cons

Lack of training at the start

Best job I’ll ever have

I have been with Dior forThe past 4 years and I have to say I absolutely love it!! They really look after their staff and they go above and beyond to make sure we are alright no matter the circumstances. We get spoiled on a regular and conferences are the best! Due to COVID, some things have taken a back seat but I can’t wait to get back on a plane and travel with my fellow dior ambassadors. I highly recommend working for this company

Pros

Discount, gifts, working for such a brand

Cons

Sometimes can be competitive with a brand I won’t mention!
