CLEAN is a UK market leader in the commercial laundry sector with six well-invested laundry production facilities. In short, we provide hotels and restaurants with clean linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels, table linen etc) and all types of industry with workwear, for example protective overalls for engineering companies or food manufacturers. This sounds very simple, but we have a complex process involving transportation of clean and dirty items and the washing, drying and ironing of over 5 million (yes, 5 million) items each week!

With all of this going on, we have to make sure that we always have a strong focus on health and safety – that’s how we’ve won the RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Gold Award every year, since 2013.

We employ around 1,000 people across our 6 Sites (and some colleagues work from home).

We have a lot of experience behind us as we’ve been operating since 1886. In 2018 we were acquired by Alsco Inc, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, who also specialise in workwear and linen production, globally, with over 20,000 employees.Show less
