Part Time General Assisstant in New Holland, ENG

Pleasant working environment
During my time i was allowed to feel welcome and was encouraged to expand my skills in a genuine workplace. A typical day was far from typical as i was continuously placed into different departments to test my abilities in adapting. I found this extremely helpful and thought it was a very efficient method as it enabled me to learn as much as possible in the limited time i had there.

Poor management and no room to progress
I worked here for a little under a year, the salary and hours where great but the managers don’t care about the workforce and you receive poor treatment, when I first applied and went through the interview process I was told consistently that there’s room to progress and you can work your way through the ranks quickly if you put in the work, I then later found out that that’s not the case at all, some of the guys I spoke to there have been there for 20+ years and they’ve been on the same station working the same job for the whole time, if you’re fine with just being a number on a piece of paper who is easily replaceable & you have no care for a career where you can progress then this place is perfect for you. But if you want something more and you want a career where you can excel and be treated fairly with the opportunity to progress then I advise you stay well away from this place.

Daventry Depot
At the Daventry depot personal are being managed by a dictatorship. You would thought it was the gulf war in there. No communications and everything is done off he cuff. The salary is great but everything in there is done 2 or 3 times. The HR team is like they just left school and learning about CIPD. I've known at least 5 times when communications have had to be rebreifed to correct the mistakes. Basically if your happy to be a puppet you will fit in great. Oh you get free team and coffee and get the management looking at you and walk off, it's like there voice box has been taken out. So that is fantastic place to work (NOT)

Overall wouldn’t work here if you paid me more!
Supervisors and workers are rude, will treat you unfairly towards people and look down on you! Pay was okay but I see why it’s higher pay as to what you have to put up with! None of the workers know what they’re doing even the supervisors and higher up workers are unsure of what to do Training is bare minimum and then workers get blamed for doing something wrong. Stressful environment! Honestly I wouldn’t look back.
Production Fitter/Road Tester in New Holland, ENG

Road Tester
Loved the job role and working for this company if you like the manufacturing environment. Lots of backstabbing and poor management in the workplace unfortunately is probably only thing that lets it down. Union is in the company pocket and salary is poor for this type of production.
