Abbey View - Sherborne

Abbey View is a very nice home for residents and when I joined I received excellent induction programme and the staff and line managers were very supportive. Really enjoy working for Colten care.

Great place to work
Clinical Lead (Current Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 16 March 2022
Colten Care are a family run company who support their staff very well. I have recently joined the company and my induction was brilliant. I have been very well supported by all members of the management team. I am proud to have joined a great company who care about their staff and of course the residents. I love supporting the staff within my team and ensuring they are developed to the best of their ability, The development opportunities are great especially if you wish to train as a nurse or progress within the company and of course ensuring that my residents are happy and comfortable within their home.
Pros
Supportive and friendly teams
Cons

Very rewarding.
Clinical lead/Deputy manager (Current Employee) - Winchester - 22 June 2021
I love working at St Catherine’s View it’s very rewarding , but long hours. I find the whole team very supportive with a common goal to give outstanding care to our residents. I have read the negative reviews and they are missing some of the facts. Yes we did not get a pay rise as with every other care provider all money went into providing a safe environment for the staff and residents. There was never any shortage of PPE. However the company when it was able gave every member of staff a £300 bonus to say thank you for all their hard work. The residents are at the heart of everything we do at St Catherine’s and I am proud to work for the company. Anyone that comments on indeed who are having difficulties I would urge them to go to someone they trust who will be able to help them.
Pros
Paid lunch handover and free site parking.
Cons
Long hours lots of paperwork.
