Rewarding Job

Working with a family looking after a new born baby until he was adopted.Complicated legal case child had severe disabilities due to mistakes. made after he was born. Needed excellent communication skills dealing with family and various agencies involved with his care and future. The skills I had from nursing enabled me to care for this child to a high standard. Dispensing his medicines, following a feeding and exercise regime oi help the child to be stimulated and to remain well. Respond to emergency situations with the child was a challenge but also rewarding. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the families sorrow and saying goodbye when he was finally placed in a foster home.
