Friendly and relaxed atmosphere

I'm yet to get some experiences but in the overall I have so far learned to treat people with respect, it has a safe workplace culture, the hardest part of the job is supporting someone in the end of life stage and the best part of the job is being able to give people the opportunity to live the best lives possible

Great company

Great place to work, every day is different. Good support from management and development opportunities. Pay could be better and long hours can be difficult

Wouldn’t do it again.

What is the best part of working at the company? The people supported by the charity. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The management that break their own policies and make their own rules up as they go along. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Micromanagement and zero clarity. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Unorganised, without a clear structure. Think fighting to even have your department recognised.

Brilliant team shocking management and higher management

If you don’t mind being just a number and valued less than human then get a job here. You see great staff and great managers pushed out and then deal with managers who don’t know anything and can’t even be bothered to answer you and staff who can do what they like when they like. Come and go as they please..

Would not recommend

When I first started I loved the job and the company, then senior management changed and everything changed for the worst. Upper management have no care for their staff or the people we support. All they care about is looking good. They have been put in these roles and do not have a clue how to do their jobs and all of the flack falls to service leaders and staff teams who get no support at all from them. Investigation processes are corrupt and done to pre-empt disciplinary outcomes. The only pro’s are the staff team who go above and beyond for the people we support, and the people we support who deserve better than what this company give.

Pros

Amazing support staff

Cons

Upper management

Horrible

If you want to work in a toxic workplace with a two faced manager and advanced support worker this place is for you! No staff support, completely childish environment. If the advanced support worker or manager don’t like you then they will make your work life unbearable until you eventually quit. I suggest if you value your mental health then don’t work here

Support worker

Supporting this client group can be increably rewarding. Shift start and end times do vary places to place so you have to be flexible. The majority of support staff are brilliant but the management aren't great at some services.

Pros

Compressed hours so you get extra days off during the week

Cons

Pays lower than competitors, no extra for bank holidays or nights

Support worker

Worked here for almost 3 years, great way to gain care experience with a nice environment. 12 hour shifts. Monthly pay. 3 weeks rota at a time. Flexible with holidays.

Awful

Tupe'd from another company that was taken over. Never saw any management, no face to face training. Lots of IT systems with no support. Like to self promote the company (as I guess it's the only good promotion they could get). Very much an us and them mentality with office staff. Avoid
