Great workplace with fun colleagues & great managers
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Salford, Greater Manchester - 6 November 2019
Featured review
Concentrix selected this as a representative reviewThe atmosphere on the contact centre floor is really lively and friendly. It's a great place to meet new friends and enjoy your time at work. There's plenty of support when and if you need it with team managers and coaches on hand all the time. Although there is initially a lot to learn, the trainers and academy team are really good and make sure you have lots of support before you are placed into your team on the floor and make you feel comfortable asking any questions you have. I really enjoy working here and have made friends for life on my team.

Fraud Advisor (Former Employee) - Remote - 15 November 2023
Terrible pay for what seems like a pretty crucial job. Callers are waiting for at least half an hour just for us to tell them to make their own report on the website which feels awful. Two weeks of classroom training and then you’re practically left on your own. They have support but they’re always rude and expect you to know things that you simply weren’t taught. Poor work like balance with awful shift patterns and unpaid breaks. There are rules on when you can and can’t take annual leave.

Bad training but good management
Inbound Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Remote - 15 November 2023
I worked for the company for a year and 8 months, I had 3 team leaders, the first one was a joke, the second one was amazing, couldn’t ask for a better manager and the third clearly didn’t care. The schedules are great and the pay is the minimum wage, can’t complain. The targets are a bit hard to achieve but something that could happen with good training, which clearly was not given. We’ve 3 weeks of training which do not prepare us for the role at all and then they expect us to know how to handle the pressure of it, having not enough knowledge on the systems.
Pros
Good schedules
Cons
Bad management/payment/training

Long hours
Sales Advisor (Current Employee) - Work from home - 14 November 2023
Concentrix is any a bad company to work for, they just need more structure when it comes to helping new agents. I noticed that being live after training you are kind of just thrown into the deep end without the help you need (there is definitely help don’t get me wrong it’s just not enough) as they expect you to keep your targets high and clean but then no one is there to help you when you need it most but once you get through the stage of needing help and knowing everything doing the work by yourself is decent, decent incentives as well and bonus

An ok place to work
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Work from home - 10 November 2023
It’s just an ok place to work. The shifts were a bit long and busy most times. I work part time and had to work every single Saturday and Sunday even though my contract only said Sundays were mandatory.

Avoid at all costs
Customer Sales Advisor (Current Employee) - Derry, County Londonderry - 7 November 2023
Typical day - listen to management praising their favourites whilst everyone is told stats need improving. Meant to be customer service role but pushed more like sales with all the KPI's expected. Very clicky place and toxic. For the benefit of your mental health avoid at all costs.
Pros
Flexible shift patterns, holiday requests
Cons
Management, expectations, inconsistent team leaders

Don't even bother
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear - 31 October 2023
Management are a mess and you will get messed about. Even for a temp job it's not worth the stress. Under paid in most departments with the new contracts being worthless.

Proceed with caution!!
Customer Financial Assistant (Former Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne - 18 October 2023
This company works on behalf of their clients I.e. Banks and Corporations so be prepared for none of your personal opinions or views to be listened to. People who question the way things are done are immediately dismissed and told to just accept and get on with it. While there are some helpful team leaders, the general attitude of higher management is poor. Anything that goes wrong is automatically assumed to be the fault of staff and management seem unwilling to have agents' backs. Coaching sessions feel like interrogations and very one-sided. Training is fairly mediocre. When you start taking calls you will feel like you're starting all over again and it is the luck of the draw as to which mentors you are paired with. The majority of mentors take the role to avoid being on the phones. This is something that was evident throughout my time there and management did nothing to address it. You will often feel like the company is setting you up to fail rather than having your back. Information surrounding failed calls is never dealt with confidentially and you will be made to feel like you are at fault and everyone blames you. This is not a good company to work for. It will put a huge strain on your mental health and destroy any hopes of a work/life balance. Also, food in the canteen is overpriced and of poor quality
Pros
Free coffee
Cons
General office culture

Horrible
Customer Assistant (Current Employee) - Bristol - 17 October 2023
Do not recommend. Draining, demanding on you mental health. No support offered by management and gaslighting to make you think that the work load is not the problem.

Good job, fair wage
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Remote - 17 October 2023
I enjoyed my time with concentrix but a lot was happening in my personal life at that time which lead to me having to leave my position a lot earlier than I had hoped.

Awful, simply awful.
Cyber Crime and Fraud Advisor (Former Employee) - Work from home - 17 October 2023
The reviews about this role are not a one off. In the space of a month, two whole new teams quit. Lied during training about how incredibly busy the job is. Constant stressful calls with only 30 seconds of allowed time between calls. No adjustments for ASD and Neurodivergent people. Nowhere near enough training. Monitored every single second of the day. Far too much stress for minimum wage. Several customers daily will say they’re suicidal and you are taught that “they are just attention seeking, they won’t do it”
Pros
Absolutely none
Cons
Long hours, No social life, Constant Monitoring, Incredibly stressful, Bad management

Decent place to work
Inbound Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Remote - 15 October 2023
I gained valuable transferable skills. But difficult work life balance as expected to work late shifts into evening and weekends too. Managers were rude and difficult at times. Pay was average hence reason to move on.
Pros
Skills gained, nice people
Cons
Late hours, weekend work, pay
