Lovely people, learnt some skills from certain senior members of staff! Training programme, very brief - more on the job learning. Management as a whole, not so good! New Managing Director, very poor with his communication and terrible character to be around. Makes you feel uncomfortable and small, very unnecessary. Hardest part of the job, was hours in one single working day! Anywhere from 10 to 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. The most enjoyable part of this role was, putting people into work and finally get all them warm phone calls thanking you for all your efforts.
People - very friendly and sociable, supportive when you have issues so you on't have to report to management. Office - very clean and modern, fresh fruit and breakfast delivered weekly, radio on on the sales floor so always a buzz. Incentives - if you are above target there are some exceptional incentives to go on e.g. Ibiza, sailing, Amsterdam, various races, Iceland, 5* lunches, balls etc. Typical day - registering new candidates, getting updates from existing candidates, arranging interviews, handling offer negotiation, updating database, contacting new companies, advertising vacancies etc. Training - training provided when joining (whether you are experienced in recruitment or not), regular training throughout by a variety of people (management, HR, marketing, top performers etc) Pay - clear progression path so no dangled carrots.Commission scheme is excellent, from what I've heard from other recruiters/rec2recs ours seems to be extremely competitive.
