Just awful
For me i wanted this to be my forever career, I was so excited to get into the job role and learn and flourish. But it never happened. You are sold the dream on the interview, told you will be earning up to £30k a year! And it was so easy to make money. It’s not! The targets you have to hit to make money are very high ! You can work your behind off every day and not make any money. But the company will make money from you! Cold calling is involved daily, You are not an estate agent you sit in an office and just hammer the phone daily. And if you don’t get any appointments then you’re in trouble. You will hardly do viewings and they are done by a employee a on less money despite using the most fuel. The pay is awful. It’s not even minimum wage. Your commission tops it up. The job it’s self is highly stressful and they have no consideration for your health and well-being. Being told sick days are basically not allowed and your weak If you need them. Are then are told you’re not allowed to take a Lieu day so you work 10 hours a day 6 days a week. The management are so old school in their ways and think the best way to motivate people is to tell them off every morning then expect you to produce good numbers for them. Good work is not rewarded and senior members of staff will pass work off onto the juniors and expect them to know what to do. There is no training only training on how to sell and cold call. There is nothing on how to deal with solicitors, or sale progressions. You are a number not a human. I urge who is considering a role in this company to not. It’s completely ruined the estate agency world for me. And I’m looking at a career in a different direction. I am mentally drained everyday and it’s not worth the stress. It’s quite literally the worst job I’ve ever had. Connells Estate Agent, Lettings Manager in Southampton, Hampshire

Awful
Terrible company to work for. You are literally just a number. Rediculous targets that can’t be met! They only care about figures! Poor management from head office.Senior Lettings Negotiator in Watford

One of the worst experiences of my entire life.
If you value your personal well-being and mental health you will steer clear of a workplace like this which has an unbelievable amount of 'take' and no where near enough 'give'. Selfish and irresponsible. Lazy beyond belief with a management team which couldn't run a bath let alone an agency. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. One word.. Depressing!Sales negotiator in Pembrokeshire

Awful company. Avoid like the plague.
Terrible company to work for. Promised the earth regarding pay but you never see any commission. Long hours including Saturdays and bank holidays with no time and a half for a bank holiday. Avoid working for this company. You are literally just a number. Rediculous targets that can’t be met! They only care about figures and exchanges so those higher up can get their fat bonuses!! What would your current employer say about you if we called them now? What’s your biggest weakness? What are your salary needs? If you found yourself in a position where all your work was done, what would you do with the rest of your day?
