coople Employee Review
Good pay
Waitress/Bar Staff (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 20 September 2023
However, if a shift is cancelled very last minute there’s no refund even if you have made your way. Sometimes they mat lock your account because they say you havent signed in at your workplace… when you are there and there was a problem with THEIR app.

Mixed bag
Bar Staff (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 27 July 2022
It’s a mixed bag. When you sign up, you just have to get the first job and you are good; you start getting shifts (and will most likely get them) But if you cancel once or don’t use the app for sometime it is hard to get more jobs. I’ve been applying for jobs for months/gotten urgent requests but I am never chosen. I have also had shifts taken from me after confirmation without me knowing. I’m so glad I have other apps to support me and never relied on Coople. For some people, they are able to get full time permanent jobs(mostly administrative) through here which is great and there is tons of chef jobs that have weeks of shifts. It is easy to navigate through the app but the main thing is you can have dry spells for months. You shouldn’t join Coople if you aren’t a chef/into waiteressing/ into admin and don’t have other means of supporting yourself. Honestly, there are better job apps that guarantee you shifts.

Flexible work and generally good pay
Agency Worker (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 15 June 2023
good for students or those looking for flexibility, all the places I have worked with so far have been really good. The pay is good, only thing is that getting your first shift with them is really hard and the ratings system can stop you from getting more jobs. other than that, good company, and good communication.
